Virtual Message
Drafting a Virtual Message (Q.4.A.1) is a topic where student is required convert the virtual conversion that will be given in the question into a short message for a third person.
Do's & Don'ts :-
- Convert the conversation or dialogue into a short message.
- Only the important details should be included.
- The message must be in the form of Indirect Speech.
- Be polite and to the point.
- Avoid writing short words or abbreviations.
- Read the Question twice.
- Student should not add any new information to the context.
- Always write the message in a rectangular box, draw it with a pencil.
Format :- (** - Leave a line)
Date, Time

Q. You receive a telephone call from your mother's office when she is not at home. You have the following conversation with the speaker. But you have to go for your tuition class. So leave a message for your mother in 50 words, use the given information below: (pg no. 163)
You : Hello!
Mr. Rastogi : Hello! May I speak to Ms. Dixit, please? I am Naresh Rastogi from the office.
You : Mom's not at home right now.
Mr. Rastogi : In that case can you give her a message? It is urgent. Please tell her that the meeting fixed for tomorrow has been rescheduled. Ask her to check her mail as soon as possible for the details. Please don't forget to inform her.
You : Don't worry. I will tell her as soon as she returns.

Rakesh: Yes. I am Rakesh Sood. My wife has been having a severe headache since yesterday. Since this morning she has also developed a high temperature. I would be very grateful if the doctor could come over to our place to examine her.
Mrs. Sarkar: Of course. Please let me note down your address.
Rakesh: It is B-49, New Colony.
Mrs. Sarkar: I will give him your message as soon as he returns.
Rakesh: Thank You.
Mrs. Sarkar had to leave for the school where she teaches. So she wrote a message for her husband. Draft the message in not more than 50 words. (pg no. 163)

This is the news that I wanted to give to Sourajit. Will you do that for me? Also tell him that I will let him know my new cell phone number as soon as I get one.

Amrita had to leave for office. So she wrote a note for Sourajit. Draft her message in not more than 50 words.

Mr. Bhide told you to convey to your father the following: a meeting - Saturday, 11 am. in Clubhouse - about Independence Day celebration in your society - also about tree pruning - car parking.
Solution :
( Note: In the question it is clearly mentioned about Independence Day, so considering it, you can't put any date in the format, use your common sense, consider date of 2-4 days before the celebration day whenever such questions are asked )

Atharva: Hello, may I speak to Vasu?
Sarika: Extremely sorry, Vasu has still not reached home. May I know who is speaking?
Atharva: I am Atharva, his badminton coach from Champions Badminton Academy. Will you take a note for her?
Sarika: Why not sir, please say what the message is?
Atharva: Please inform her that the academy will remain closed for the period of 8 days as two Corona Positive cases are found today here in the academy. The academy will reopen from 8th of November, 2020.
Sarika: No problem sir, I will inform him about it.
